abstract="During the last decade, crucial bacterial strains responsible for lower urinary tract infection have changed their susceptibility to urodisinfectant agents. The goal of this paper was to overview the therapeutic efficacy of a phosphonic acid derivative, fosfomycin tromethamol (MONURAL \&#174; , Zambon Group, Italy) for urinary tract infection. Our analysis indicates a clearly beneficial effect of this drug in eradicating urinary infections in women.",
