title="Thyroid arteries embolization as a palliative treatment in patients with thyroid carcinoma: a case study",
abstract="Papillary thyroid carcinoma is the most commonly diagnosed subtype and is associated with the most favorable prognosis. It is currently detected in the majority of patients at a stage that allows for radical surgical treatment. In cases where surgery is contraindicated, one of the palliative treatment options to slow disease progression may involve embolization of the arteries supplying the tumor. In our study, we present the case of a patient disqualified from thyroidectomy, in whom this procedure successfully halted disease progression and alleviated symptoms of airway compression.",
