title="Application of the MMPI-2 test in the diagnosis of autism spectrum disorders – a case study of a patient with high-functioning autism",
abstract="The aim of this article is to present, based on a specific case, the potential use of the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory-2 (MMPI-2) test in the diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder. In addition, a practical strategy for interpreting MMPI-2 test results is proposed, i.e. one that can be applied in other assessments of patients on the spectrum. Given the large number of scales, the complexity of the tool, and the time-consuming nature of data analysis, any interpretation examples may serve as valuable support in the psychologist’s daily diagnostic work. In Polish professional literature, there is still a lack of comprehensive resources that facilitate the in-depth interpretation of MMPI-2 test results. This case study presents an example of an interpretative process that can be applied in clinical practice.",
