title="Intermediate-grade melanocytic meningeal neoplasm of the thoracic spine",
abstract="         Primary meningeal melanocytomas are extremely rare tumors, and intermediate-grade forms are even less frequent. As management strategies have not been established, every report of treatment and its outcome is of invaluable importance. We present an unusual case of a   58-year-old male patient who presented with a one-month history of progressive paraparesis and a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) finding of an intradural spinal canal tumor infiltrating the thoracic spine. Postoperative histopathological examination revealed a suspected intermediate-grade melanocytic meningeal neoplasm. This was confirmed by integrated diagnosis, combining histological/immunohistochemical images and molecular test results. The patient was referred for oncological treatment. Radiotherapy was performed two months after surgery. Six months after surgery and radiotherapy, the patient’s neurological condition improved, and no tumor remnants were detected in subsequent follow-up MRI examinations.   ",
