title="Delayed suprachoroidal effusion in Sturge-Weber syndrome",
abstract=" An 11-year-old girl with Sturge-Weber syndrome and glaucoma underwent uneventful combined trabeculotomy-trabeculectomy with mitomycin C, which controlled the intraocular pressure (IOP). Eight months later the child presented with shallow anterior chamber (AC) and low IOP, and B-scan ultrasound revealed a rim of suprachoroidal effusion. The child was prescribed topical atropine and systemic steroids, and the condition improved after around 11 days, with fluctuation mandating maintenance dose of topical atropine for several weeks before final withdrawal and follow-up on no topical treatment. The child has controlled IOP, formed AC, residual peripheral anterior synechia, absent suprachoroidal effusion, and a normal fundus appearance. ",
