abstract="The purpose of the study was to evaluate the health-related quality of life (QL) of patients with refractory epilepsy. The specially prepared questionnaire concerned the psychological, social and socioeconomic aspects in relationship with health condition. Self-estimated patient`s QL is rather low and better results are observed if the disease is longer lasting and if their knowledge concerning epilepsy is better.",
