title="The most frequent clinical manifestations of infections caused by the Herpesviridae family",
abstract="Infections caused by the Herpesviridae family are common among humans. Eight species of human herpesviruses have been identified. They are characterized by similar genome structures, replication cycles, biological characteristics and responses to therapy. Infection with herpesvirus has a variety of clinical manifestations involving the skin, mucous membranes, eyes, the central nervous system and genital tract. The course of the disease is to a great extent determined by the immune competence of the host. Because herpesviruses can survive in latency in their host\’s organism, infection with them is a problem that troubles patients till the end of their lives.",
