abstract="Specialist nursing care of patients with venous leg ulcer needs wide knowledge about aetiological factors reduction and about multidirectional, effective interventions improving and influencing everyday functioning of the patient. In the care process individual phases such as diagnosis, planning, realization and evaluation have special importance together with the holistic concept. Additionally, standards make such care specialized and professional, indicate directions and describe possibilities to achieve the aims of care.  The aim of the study was to describe the wholeness of nursing care and present a standard of care for patients with leg ulcer.",
