abstract="Castleman\’s disease, also known as angiofollicular lymphoid hyperplasia or giant lymph node hyperplasia, is a rare, proliferative disease of the lymphatic system, usually occurring in the mediastinum. We report a case of multicentric Castleman\’s disease with giant lymph nodes located in the peripancreatic region and imitating a pancreatic mass. The disease took an unusual course, with periodic elevation of pancreatic enzyme activity in the serum, presence of exudate in the pericardium and presence of fluid with high pancreatic enzyme activity in the pleural cavity.",
