abstract="This article presents the current knowledge concerning immunological mechanisms which are responsible for successful pregnancy outcome. The most important mechanisms discussed  include low trophoblastic antigenicity, overbalance of Th2 type cytokines, immunoregulatory properties of progesterone, the role of blocking antibodies and local immunoregulation inside decidua.",
