In 40% of patients, SS is primary, in near 60%, SS accompanies other autoimmune disorders (like systemic sclerosis) as a secondary SS. More than a half of patients with systemic sclerosis present symptoms characteristic of the sicca syndrome, however, a small percentage of those patients meet criteria for Sjögren’s syndrome. On the basis of available literature, the prevalence of Sjögren’s syndrome in patients diagnosed with systemic sclerosis and the course of both diseases in the case of their coexistence were analysed. %A Morawska, Justyna %A Sierakowski, Stanisław %A Gińdzieńska-Sieśkiewicz, Ewa %A Sierakowska, Matylda %P 446-448 %9 journal article %U https://www.termedia.pl/Coexistence-of-Sjogren-s-syndrome-and-systemic-sclerosis,18,15854,1,1.html
