Its biology and pathogenesis are poorly understood. We present the case of a 1-year-old male patient with a huge tumour of the right lobe of the liver which showed rapid enlargement. Imaging procedures revealed a central solid lesion, 18 cm in diameter in the right lobe of the liver, with cystic degeneration. After surgical resection a diagnosis of mesenchymal hamartoma was established by pathological examination of the surgical specimen. Postoperative recovery of the patient was uneventful. %A Orłowski, Marcin %A Bręborowicz, Danuta %P 108-112 %9 journal article %U https://www.termedia.pl/Mesenchymal-hamartoma-of-the-liver-case-reportand-short-literature-overview,55,17114,1,1.html
