The situation of woman after fetal death in Poland in the light of the survey %X Miscarriages are considered to be a difficult situation both for mother and whole family. The aim of this study was to investigate about situation of women in Poland after miscarriage. Clinic group contained 50 women who miscarried in many different stages of pregnancy. Investigation was performed in a group of patients in Provincial Specialist Hospital in Wroclaw. Our scientific team used a diagnostic survey which contain sixteen multiple choice questions and one open question to let mothers tell about their feelings connected to their situation. Almost half of a women had no opportunity to say goodbye to their dead children. In the hospital psychological care is mothers opinion is provided mostly by midwifes and family. Professional psychologist are on third place. Less that 50% of mothers claimed that doctors also help them in that tragic situation. Despite the fact most of the mothers agreed that arranging support groups for them is a good idea only few of them used that king of help. In authors opinion number of women having problem with saying goodbye to their children in hospital is too big. We should also be worried about condition of professional psychological support for mothers in such difficult situation. It should be considered to improve the level of midwife support in houses of women after miscarriage. Formation of new local support groups should be also an aim to increase the level of psychological help for women after miscarriage. %A Mess, Eleonora %A Bartoszczyk, Iwona %A Jerczak, Bartosz P. %A Ornat, Maciej %A Pirogowicz, Iwona %P 182-185 %9 journal article %U https://www.termedia.pl/Stillbirth-and-miscarriage-The-situation-of-woman-after-fetal-death-in-Poland-r-nin-the-light-of-the-survey,59,29610,1,1.html
