Due to its rare occurrence, the studies concerning MBC comprise few affected patients and the number of individual case reports is limited. For this reason there are no gender-specific therapeutic standards for men and guidelines in MBC are not different from the pattern of action in this disease in women. Therefore, there is a need for detailed documentation of sporadically occurring cases of MBC to identify gender-specific aspects in the diagnosis and treatment of this condition. The authors present a case report of a 75-year-old patient with advanced breast cancer, along with an analysis of literature elaborating current methods for the detection, diagnostics, and treatment of male breast cancer. %A Pietrzyński, Łukasz %A Rajchel, Mateusz %A Pietrzyńska, Tatiana %P 176-180 %9 journal article %U https://www.termedia.pl/Treatment-of-male-breast-cancer-case-report,59,31653,1,1.html
