Both of them occurred during insufflation with the help of a Veress needle. They differed in their clinical course but both of them were essentially caused by a technical mistake committed by the operator. These lethal complications happened to an experienced group of 2 surgeons who performed 45-th and 215-th laparoscopic cholecystectomy in their career respectively. The presented lethal complications of laparoscopic cholecystectomy were observed in the 9-th and 10-th year of performing this procedure respectively. %A Bierca, Jacek %A Kowalski, Bartosz %A Kosim, Anna %A Zmora, Jan %P 10-12 %9 journal article %U https://www.termedia.pl/Original-article-Lethal-iatrogenic-complications-of-laparoscopic-cholecystectomy,42,5868,1,1.html
