For this reason, the patient was treated non-invasively and then hospitalized. The medication used in the patient (as recommended in the WHO “analgesic ladder”) did not provide therapeutic effects. As a result of additional diseases, which prevent general anesthesia, the patient was qualified for minimally invasive surgery, which was limited to analgesia and sedation. The patient underwent stabilization with bone cement (sacroplasty). As a result of the treatment the pain decreased by more than 70% with increased physical activity of the patient.
