Dear Readers, Authors, Reviewers and Editorial Board Members of the Journal of Contemporary Brachytherapy,

We are pleased to inform you that the Journal of Contemporary Brachytherapy has just received its first Impact Factor of 1.284. This accomplishment was only possible because of devotion and commitment of many authors who over the years have contributed increasing quality papers to the Journal of Contemporary Brachytherapy and supported our journal during its development process.

Apart from the authors, I would like to thank many people who contributed to this success. First of all I would like to thank the editorial/publishing team, colleagues who were very supportive for the Journal of Contemporary Brachytherapy and people who contributed significantly to all the efforts serving as excellent reviewers.
Once again, thank you for our common success and I hope that in the next few years our cooperation will be equally fruitful.
