Pleomorphic adenoma (mixed tumor) of the parotid gland represents 80% of all tumors of the salivary glands. The tumor is characterized by slow growth, can reach a large size, and during the course of many years may undergo złośliwieniu. The treatment of choice is to remove the operations; relapse may occur many years after the first surgery. We present a case of a 46-year-old patient with a large recurrent adenoma of the parotid gland multiforme left. The predominant clinical picture is rapidly growing vascular swelling of the entire neck with generalized lymphadenopathy. The case is presented because of the rapid development of cancer recurrence and metastatic nodal adverse clinical course. The case is discussed together with a review of the literature.
