W kryteriach diagnostycznych zespołu antyfosfolipidowego (APS) uwzględnia się obecność przeciwciał antykardiolipinowych (aCL) i antykoagulanta tocznia (LA). Badania przeprowadzone w ostatniej dekadzie wykazały, że przeciwciałami antyfosfolipidowymi (aPLs) o istotnym znaczeniu patogenetycznym w rozwoju APS są również inne przeciwciała, z czego największe znaczenie mają przeciwciała przeciw protrombinie (aPT) i przeciw b2-glikoproteinie I (ab2GPI). Autorzy przedstawiają przegląd literatury dotyczącej występowania i klinicznego znaczenia tych przeciwciał oraz własne doświadczenia.
