In the article the most important changes in 2007 ESH/ESC Guidelines in Management of Arterial Hypertension were discussed. The advances in diagnosis and treatment of some forms of secondary hypertension like renal artery stenosis, primary aldosteronism and pheochromocytoma were also presented.
