Diagnosis and treatment of diabetic men with erectile dysfunction

Erectile dysfunction (ED) is common in men with diabetes. The aetiology of ED in diabetes mellitus is multifactorial with neurovascular and endothelial factors playing a prominent role. For the treatment of ED can been used phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor, that improves erectile function, vacuum errectile devices, intracorporal injection therapy, vascular surgery, penile prostheses.
