When we have a daily contact with patients suffering from incurable diseases we face helplessness in the last phase of their lives. Patients, their families and medical staff especially workers of the palliative ward are often exposed to existencial questions. This work is an attempt to consider the role of a psychologist working with the patients and people taking care of them i.e. family members and hospital staff.
