Dear Editor-in-Chief of the “Journal of Contemporary Brachytherapy”:
On behalf of the authors of the paper “The use of nomograms in LDR-HDR prostate brachytherapy” published in your journal “Journal of Contemporary Brachytherapy” (2011/volume 3/number 3; pages: 121-124), we would like that you consider a correction in the text.
In page 123, colum 1, line 4, where it is said:
“where SK is the source Air Kerma Strength (μGy × m2 × h–1), T is total radiation time (h), D is the prescribed dose (Gy)”.
We consider that to be consistent with the units that appear in figures 4 and 5, and the results in table 2, it should be said:
“where SK is the source Air Kerma Strength (μGy × m2 × h–1), T is total radiation time (h), D is the prescribed dose (cGy)”.
