Recently, we have published paper entitled “Blood-brain barrier permeability differentiates Sadowski mouse lines of high and low stress-induced analgesia: electron microscopy analysis.” by Gajkowska B, Kosson A, Sacharczuk M, Kosson P, Lipkowski AW. Folia Neuropathol 2011; 49 (4): 311-318. In this paper we analyzed two mouse lines divergently bred for high (HA) and low (LA) swim stress-induced analgesia. These lines were developed at the Institute of Genetics and Animal Breeding, Polish Academy of Sciences, Jastrzebiec, where they were extensively studied by Professor Bogdan Sadowski in the last 25 years. Therefore, in our informal discussions, both lines HA and LA were named “Sadowski mouse”. Although, in our paper we defined explicitly both mouse lines, the common name “Sadowski mouse” was used in the title and in the text. The use of this common name has been recognized as a strain of a new systematic name. It was not our intention. Therefore, please accept the erratum for this paper where “Sadowski mouse” should be replaced by” two mouse lines divergently bred for high (HA) and low (LA) swim stress-induced analgesia” Therefore, the corrected title should be “Blood-brain barrier permeability differentiates two mouse lines divergently bred for high (HA) and low (LA) swim stress-induced analgesia: electron microscopy analysis”.
