Enormous evolution of molecular biology and techniques used in genetics make the knowledge about pathogenesis of many diseases including atopy possible. The search for a singular gen or genes responsible for atopy still lasts, and there is a disprepancy of the results. Because of that, genetical mechanisms of atopy still remain unclear. The paper contains the latest data concerning this problem.
