Publication charge

Please note that since 12^th October 2023 to 31^st December there is an obligatory charge (= 800 Euro/3600 PLN) for each manuscript submitted and accepted for publication in Clinical and Experimental Hepatology. Termedia Sp. z o.o. does not pay bank transfer costs. There are no additional charges for colour photos and other graphics.

ATTENTION: From January 1^st, 2026, fees will change.

Each manuscript submitted on or after January 1, 2026, if accepted for publication in Clinical and Experimental Hepatology, will be subject to a fee of €1,000 or PLN 4,250 (for Polish authors). Termedia Sp. z o. o. does not pay bank transfer costs. There are no additional charges for color photos and other graphics.

Submitting authors or first authors are entitled once a year to exemption from the fee for publication in CEH if they meet one of the following criteria:

a) are a member of the Polish Association for the Study of the Liver (PASL, PTHepat),

b) are members of the Editorial Board of Clinical and Experimental Hepatology,

c) reviewed articles for Clinical and Experimental Hepatology at least twice in the past year.

Authors should send us proper postal and e-mail addresses and all necessary data for the invoice including the editorial number of your publication. We shall send an invoice for payment after articles are accepted for publication. During a bank transfer please indicate your name in addition to the editorial number of the paper (e.g. John Smith, CEH No. CEH-00004-2023-01).
PayPal (EUR) is the preferred way of payment. However, if this is impossible, payments can be made directly to the following bank accounts:

The first authors or submitting authors who are members of PTHepat (PASL), members of the Editorial Board (Clinical and Experimental Hepatology) or reviewed articles for Clinical and Experimental Hepatology at least twice in the past year should indicate this information in the editorial panel when submitting their manuscript by the Editorial System. After verification by the editors, this will be the basis for exemption from the fee for publishing the article.

The fee applies only to the cost of preparing / developing the article for publication in the journal. The fee has no effect on the acceptance of the article for publication. All articles submit by editorial system are reviewed by independent experts outside the editorial office and based on their opinions are qualified or not for publication.
Please be informed that if the author decides not to publish the work, which was already accepted and paid, the fee paid will not be returned for reasons beyond the Publisher’s control.
