Chronic cough is defined as a cough of more than 8 weeks duration. It is a frequent important respiratory symptom which is a challenge for diagnosis and treatment. The key to successful management is to establish a diagnosis and to treat the cause of cough. This article is a proposition for logical care pathway for patients with this highly disabling symptom.
