The BRA Day Gala is an evening celebrating femininity, fashion, strength, and courage—an artistic event that bridges the worlds of medicine and fashion.
On October 16 at 7:00 PM, at the Wytwórnia Club (DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, Hall IV), we will embark on a journey through the styles and fashion trends of various decades. This emotionally charged evening will be a story of transformation and beauty.
Forty patients will take to the runway as models, showcasing collections by Polish designers.
A key feature of the annual BRA Day Gala is the presentation by the specialists from the Breast Cancer Unit at the Copernicus Hospital in Łódź, highlighting their work, professionalism, and empathy toward patients.
Dress code: pearls, pink, and red.
Admission to the Gala is by invitation only.
BRA Day (Breast Reconstruction Awareness Day) is a global initiative launched in Canada in 2011. Its mission is to raise awareness about breast cancer treatment and the options and methods for breast reconstruction following a mastectomy, as well as to promote cancer prevention. The BRA Day philosophy views post-mastectomy breast reconstruction as an integral part of breast cancer treatment.
Since 2014, the main organizer of BRA Day Poland has been the M. Copernicus
Memorial Hospital in Lodz Comprehensive Cancer Center and Traumatology.
