Eccrine poroma is a rare, benign skin tumour derived from sweat gland ducts. Typical distribution of the tumour is on sites where there is the highest concentration of sweat glands, such as palms and soles. If the tumour is untreated it can cause the risk of malignant transformation towards porocarcinoma, and then lead to death. The authors present a case of a 61-year-old patient who suffers from eccrine poroma of the lateral surface of her nose.
