In this article there were described problems related to the presence of chronic diabetes complications, mainly diabetic neuropathy. Moreover, pathogenesis of neuropathy and its treatment possibilities were discussed. The role of education and cooperation with the patient were emphasized. Basic standards of diabetic neuropathy treatment, the role and possibilities of kinesitherapy and use of rehabilitation equipment were presented as well.
