STICHES Polish Investigators meeting

19 listopada br. na terenie kompleksu zamkowego w Tarnowskich Górach odbyło się ogólnopolskie spotkanie badaczy skupionych wokół projektu STICH (ang. Surgical Treatment for Ischemic Heart Failure Trial ). Konferencja, z udziałem wybitnych lekarzy i naukowców z Duke Clinical Research Institute (Durham, North Carolina , USA), liderów tego programu: dr. Roberta Jonesa, dr. Erica Velazqueza, dr. Kerry Lee oraz Thomasa Barfielda, poświęcona była m.in. omówieniu dotychczasowych rezultatów badania w Polsce i na świecie, a także założeń i planów związanych z nowym międzynarodowym, wieloośrodkowym projektem Duke Clinical Research Institute , zwanym STICHES (ang. Surgical Treatment for Ischemic Heart Failure Extended Stud y), będącym kontynuacją projektu STICH.
