Intravenous ports more and more universally are applied in the cancer treatment. Ports are rarely used in the palliative care. Amongst many causes of this state, one can be inadequate training the medical staff in the use of the intravenous port. This publication is presenting the actually recommendations concerning the using of the intravenous port.
