The efficacy of osteoporosis treatment depends on early recognition of the risk of disease and proper non-pharmacological and pharmacological therapy. It is better to prevent a complication than to treat it. The appropriate doctor–patient cooperation and compliance is essential for effective treatment. The diagnosis and therapy of other associated diseases is required to correct osteoporosis therapy.
