Cardiological complication in the course of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease

In the course of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease often develops not only congestive heart failure but also chronic ischemic heart disease with angina pectoris, arrhythmia and myocardium infarction. This paper presented pathogenesis and treatment of congestive heart failure and pay attention on hypoxia, inflammation, cigarette smoke, role of infection and physical inactivity in development of ischemic heart disease. Author describes also methods of heart disease prevention and effects of beta2-agonists and anticholinergics drugs cardiac disease.
