How to treat invasively elderly patients with coronary artery disease?

The ageing of population implies that the growing number of elderly patients requires treatment of coronary artery disease. Decision about implementation of invasive treatment should be taken after consideration of the complex patophysiology and symptomatology of coronary artery disease in this population, as well as frequent comorbidities. We present the pros and cons of invasive treatment of coronary artery disease in elderly patients in the light of the recent literature data.
