W pracy omówiono wyniki ramienia hipoglikemizującego badania The Action in Diabetes and Vascular Disease: PreterAx and DiamicroN Controlled Evaluation (ADVANCE) i skonfrontowano je z wynikami badania Action to Control CardiOvascular Risk in Diabetes (ACCORD) i Veterans Affairs Diabetes Trial (VADT).

The article describes the results of the hypoglycaemic arm of the ADVANCE Trial and compares the obtained data with the results of the ACCORD and VADT studies.
