Pre-analytical errors in nurse practice

Nowadays, development of science gives us possibility of precise diagnostics and that is why it is so important that results must to be
credible. Only that kind of results can give information about real condition of patients’ health. To make sure that mentioned earlier results
are credible we should know factors which influence credible of blood tests result and avoid errors on every stage of diagnostic. On the
beginning of diagnostic process it is very important to know the role of correct preparation of patients for the blood test, correct sample
bottles and sample identification, blood drawing, sample collection, handling and transportation of biological material to the laboratory.
Errors on pre-analytical stage make it unable to get credible result of blood tests and have to be repeated, necessity of widen diagnostics
which involves increasing costs.

This article describes factors which have direct influence on blood tests result.
