Objective: Descensus of female reproductive tract is one of the main reasons of discomfort and pain among women after such gynaecological operations like total abdominal hysterectomy and supracervical hysterectomy which are the most common gynecologic operations performed in the world The aim of our study was the analysis of prophylactic methods performed during subtotal and total hysterectomies to decrease potential risk of descensus of these parts of female genital tract which are left after the operation
