There has been raised the frequent problem of undiagnosed occurrence of pain of different etiology and location simultaneously. There has been discussed the strategy of polytherapy of neuropathic pain using opioid, pregabalin and tricyclic antidepressant. The attention has been paid oxycodone as the example of the opioid of very high efficacy both in visceral, as well as in neuropathic pain.
