Neuropathic pain in patient with duodenal carcinoma infiltrating adjacent organs – case report

Neuropathic pain is a great diagnostics and therapeutic challenge and still many patients have pain that is refractory to known treatment. The case of the patient with rare primary duodenal adenocarcinoma infiltrating the adjacent organs and with severe abdominal pain of changeable origin has been described. There were different neuropathic pain’s treatment strategies and options along with diagnostic problems of pain originally nociceptive switching into neuropathic one discussed.
