A fatal case of 33-year-old female patient with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome presented as antiphospholipid syndrome (stroke of the cerebellum, high level of antiphospholipid protein antibodies IgG) admitted to the hospital due to high fever is reported. The patient was considered as sepsis and autoimmune disease and was treated with glicocorticoids and azathioprine. Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome was diagnosed (HIV infection was confirmed with Western blot method) but despite the antiviral medication patient died.
