The notion of quality of life (QoL) gained prominence in the second part of the twentieth century, and there has been a dynamic
development of research connected with the medical aspects of QoL in recent years. The quality of life studies in the patients with
skin disorders are comparable with coronary heart disease asthma and diabetes. The skin acts as an important tool for us to and other
humans through expressing emotions, angry, fear, frustration and has got a major role in the creating of own view, own value self-
-assessment. It plays an important role of the stigmatization process. In recent years, an increasing interest of the quality of life in
patients suffering from skin disorders was observed. Problem of the stigmatization in dermatology, because the patients suffering
from the different skin disorders, in the special way they experience the status of their skin was also noticed. The chronicity of these
disease cause to low the self-assessment, and adverse assessment by the other people. Skin disorders are highly stigmatized they are
easy seen by people (they see and know, that person is sick), and they could be source of lack of the acceptance of the disease and
own person.
