Raised intracranial pressure

Raised intracranial pressure (CS) is a common neurological problem in palliative care. Most of symptoms of raised CS are consequence of brain structures shift than the absolute level of CS. The pathophysiology and symptoms of raised CS was presented. Effective palliative management of raised CS include osmotherapy with mannitol or hypertonic saline solution, steroids and loop diuretics.
