Confronting perimenopausal women’s knowledge of coronary heart disease with their health behaviours. Controversial role of hormone replacement therapy in the protection of coronary heart disease
The article presents the results of the latest studies on the correlation between the levels of selected vitamins, their bio-availability and their influence on bodily tissues and the quality of life in menopausal women. It also discusses the correlations between vitamin concentrations and the incidence of diseases characteristic of the tran­sitional period, which affects the quality of life.
