Confronting perimenopausal women’s knowledge of coronary heart disease with their health behaviours. Controversial role of hormone replacement therapy in the protection of coronary heart disease
The procedure of modifying the activity of implantable cardioverter-defibrators in patients at the end of life as an example of unifying the rules of dealing with a dying patient. The article presents the process of the creation, scope, and description of the hospital procedure introduced in Szpital Uniwersytecki nr 1 im. dr A. Jurasz in Bydgoszcz. This document deals with the modification of the activity of implantable cardioverter-defibrillators in patients at the end of life. The purpose of introducing the procedure was to unify the rules of conduct in the case of a patient in whom an ICD-type device interferes with the process of natural agony and death.
