Effects of smoking tobacco on blood pressure and nursing actions

The problem of arterial hypertension, which constitutes a major risk factor for cardiovascular disorders, affects 31% of Poles, and 30% of
them run the risk of developing this disease in future.
Modern expectations of nursing are connected with the importance of combining professional skills, skills of health education, assessment
of health risk factors and fulfilling prophylactic actions.
This work tries to show the influence of smoking on blood pressure and the risk of hypertension development, and to demonstrate the
possibility of to take nursing care of smoking patients.
