Modern and professional nursing care should be based on international standards of nursing practice ICNP®. This made it possible to provide each patient and his family feeling security and guarantee the highest quality of care on the part of the nursing team. The aim of this work was the preparation of a plan of care for a child with the syndrome of congenital defect with the use of the International Classification for Nursing Practice ICNP®.
