Introduction. Subarachnoid Hemorrhage is a syndrome in which the bleeding into cerebrospinal fluid space happens, usually because of aneurysm rupture.

Aim. The aim of the work was to evaluate the condition of patients with subarachnoid hemorrhage caused by aneurysm rupture with the usage of clinometric scales.

Material and methods. To examination group we qualified 15 hospitalized patient with possibility of cerebral rupture. We evaluated them with: GCS, GOS, BI, FCS, VAS.

Results. The results of VAS scale evaluation after admission indicate that 60% of patients did not feel any pain. We observed two-sided correlation between the results of FCS and BI mark at the moment of admission p = 0,00; r = 0,970. Correlation occur between FCS results at the moment of admission and BI at the day of release p-0,005; r = 0,685.

Conclusions.

  1. VAS scale can not evaluate the level of pain of patients with significant consciousness disturbances.

  2. The evaluation of lack of self-care during hospitalization is more precise in FCS scale than BI.

  3. The evaluation of functional capacity at the day of release need to be performed in BI after the treatment.
