Wilson’s disease is a rare genetic condition that leads to copper metabolism and can cause damage in several parts of the human body. An accurate medical diagnosis allows patients to live a normal life, only being obligated to regularly take medications for the rest of their life and attend scheduled appointments. The case study aims to specify the nursing problems and tasks related to taking care of a 27-year-old patient days after liver transplantation from a deceased donor. Nursing interventions were dependent on nursing problems occurring in the case study of the patient. The presented actions are the most common nursing interventions taken for the group of liver recipients, specific for the described case.
