Project goal : The main objective of the project was to perform nursing diagnoses with the use of the ICNP in a patient operated on bubonocele.

The method of individual case study was used at work. An analysis of the patient’s history of illness and the care process Occurred to be important. The whole activity was complemented by the patient’s interview and the participating observation.

Postulate:

1. It is necessary to take up actions that will contribute to the fact that the nursing community will use the ICNP project in their daily practice, study, education, management and professional improvement.

2. An effective use of the ICNP requires the computerisation of nurses’ workstations as well as, the identification of training needs along with the effectiveness evaluation of the trainings.

3. Introducing the ICPN into the general IT system will shorten the time devoted to using the medical documentation, extend the time dedicated to a patient care and enable the evaluation of the impact of the quality of the nursing care on the effectiveness of treatment.
